Fernie Public Works

Fernie, British Columbia

Design-Build

General Contractor

Prior to contracting Eagle Builders to design, manufacture and build a new public works shop, the City of Fernie was utilizing multiple smaller structures that each served different purposes. In order to create more value, it was important to elevate the flow of their work environment. The new design compiled the functions of each structure into a singular floor plan, so all operations had designated space under one roof. The scope of work for this project included demolition of the old structures and replacing them with a new facility that would not only meet their needs long into the future but also complement the active outdoor lifestyle of Fernie, BC.

“Eagle Builders was a pleasure to work with and was integral to the success of our Operations Facility design-build project. They took the time to really get to know our operational needs and they had our needs and interests at the forefront of every project decision.”
-Zabrina Pendon | Director of Operational Services
