the History of Eagle Builders
What began as a small agricultural construction company has grown into Western Canada’s largest and most trusted name in precast concrete construction.
In 2000, Dan Haan began the long journey that would change the building industry forever. Dan understood the high maintenance costs of conventional structures and dared to find a better solution. Taking a leap of faith, he started a construction company with a vision to offer superior agricultural buildings constructed from concrete.
In the early days, precast was manufactured on-site using mobile casting beds. By 2002, a 10,000 sq. ft. building was leased to manufacture precast concrete panels. Not long after moving into the new manufacturing facility, Dan passed away. Remarkably, his young adult children stepped up to the plate and undertook the arduous task of taking over their dad’s company and continuing his vision. By cold-calling every contact they knew, the business grew one project at a time. As production increased, the recognition of the new and innovative company soon spread. Eagle Builders gained a reputation for constructing quality concrete structures with attention to detail not typically seen in the industry while fostering strong relationships with its clients.
The company’s commitment to its people, and the community, quality work and outstanding service are the driving force behind its rapid growth and what has defined Eagle Builders to be the success story it is today.
