Woody’s RV World is a leading RV dealer in Alberta and British Columbia. Since building their first location in Red Deer in 1986, Woody’s has been a staple in the community for over three decades. With their ageing facility and recent infrastructure changes in the city, it was time to relocate to a modern building that was conveniently located and would withstand the constraints of time. They engaged Eagle Builders to design, manufacture and construct their new facility. With Eagle’s prefabricated building system, the project schedule was accelerated compared to conventional construction methods. The wall assembly consisted of 188 load-bearing, insulated precast concrete panels with a combined weight of 2.34 million pounds. From shovels in the ground to occupancy, it took only 6.5 months for the 35,800 sq ft building.
