We are currently hiring for:

Construction Manager

Location: Blackfalds, Alberta 

Language:  As well as English must speak and write Dutch

Salary: $70,000 yearly for 44 hours per week, 9.6% vacation pay

              Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance

Budgetary Responsibility: $1,500,000- $6,500,000

Education & Experience:  University degree and at least 10 years experience as construction manager and estimating of larger projects. Experience working with precast concrete panels and experience with agricultural construction.

Specific Skills: Plan, organize, direct and control daily operations, Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress, Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements, Select trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities, Plan and manage budgets, Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, Prepare reports.

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use of CAD and Microsoft project is a must, Continuous learning .
